What Is Eyecare plan insurance? The cost of routine eye exams and prescription eyewear can be of real concern, especially for large families. In many cases, Eyecare plan can lower these annual expenses. Vision is precious; it’s a gift that you cannot sell or buy; look after it, examine your eyes annually. For about 20p a day you can secure the aftercare the most precious gift - your sight.

An Eyecare plan policy is not the same as health insurance. Regular health insurance plans protect you against financial losses due to unexpected eye injuries or disease..Eyecare plan on the other hand, is a wellness benefit designed to provide routine eye care, prescription eyewear and other vision-related services at a reduced cost.

What does EYECARE Plan membership cover?

• Corneal Digital analysis & Central Thickness CDA/CCT
• Corenal Topography, CT
• Retinal Ophthalmic Coherent Tomography( OCT)
• Retinal Digital Analysis -RDA
• Tear Analysis  TA
• Colour Analysis- CA
• Express on-line analysis/opinion of lead Consultant ophthalmologist

EYECARE Plan membership generally covers the following services and products:

• Annual eye examinations
• 10% discount on all eyeglass frames
• 10% Eyeglass lenses
• 10% Contact lenses
• Free Unscheduled attendance
• 50% reduction on contact lens assessment fees
• Free Trial lenses
• Reduced fees for specialist assessments
• 50% on second pair of glasses
• 50% reduced fees for specialist assessments
• Factory cost price of any extra contact lenses outside normal schedule / shipment

Generally, services acquired are much cheaper than services from out-of-network providers.
